New Way Of Life Women Transitional Center Inc. is birthed from my personal life story and struggle, as a woman whose life was affected by addition, incarnation and broken pieces, we are relatable with each woman who enters the center looking for answers and change.
I am the witness that when it looks impossible, when I enter the room, they will see that it is possible, their faith will come alive, when they hear my story, they will have the faith to believe that God is still writing their story.
When my journey of recovery began there wasn't a recovery center or halfway house in Highlands County for women, so I had to leave and go to another county to get the answers to the questions and the structure to live a life of sobriety, with support of counselors, volunteers, I was given the knowledge of addiction that gave me the power to overcome and live a sober life.
When my time was completed at the program and I came back to Highlands County, I wanted to help other women and give them the option of being able to receive the help they needed here. God gave me this desire and vision in 1990; but we know everything happens in God's timing and now is the time. I am excited and in great expectation to see what God is going to do in each of the lives of the woman who enters the center and I'm honored that God is allowing me to be a part of His plan for their transformation and transition to fulfill their DESTINY.
New Way of Life Women Transitional Center is a faith-based organization that has been established to restore hope to women who have lost their way due to addiction that led to incarceration, homelessness, and feeling that there’s no hope for them. Our mission is to help woman rebuild their lives by giving them the spiritual, mental and emotional support they need along with other resources and give them a safe place to begin their journey.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide resources, education, and transitional opportunities to women who are attempting to return to society as healthy, law-abiding, and productive individuals. Through compassionate support and structured guidance, we help women overcome barriers and develop the tools necessary for long-term success.
Our Vision
Our vision is to help each woman learn to love herself again, heal from her past, and rebuild her life with confidence, purpose, and hope. We strive to help women recognize that they are beautiful daughters of God, uniquely created with value, worth, and a divine purpose. We are committed to guiding women toward an understanding of God's unconditional love and His plan for their lives.
Restored. Renewed. Redeemed.

As in Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans that I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
